Financial aid and grants for private schools for Deaf child

Ok, my Deaf step son is not doing well in school and never really has.  He has been held back and still is not able to really comprehend material.  I really want to enroll him in a fantastic private school that I believe can help.  However, we really can't afford private school (husband in military, I run a small at home business).  Does anyone know of any grants or programs that help children with disabilities attend private schools?

The needs this teenage girl and her family need

Ok well i'm a 14 year old african-american girl and I really want to go to private school but there's just one problem...My family doesn't have any money and I mean none at all my mom lost her job and my dad just isn't in the picture. And we are currently living in a transitional housing building which is about a step up from a shelter and that is because you have to pay for food and board which is a very difficult task for my mom.  So this situation leaves me in a position of not being able to get a good education. but really from aside form that my mom who is a single women needs help in a desperate way first she doesn't have a car which makes it 2x as hard for looking for a job and we also live in transitional housing and even still we can't pay the low rent that  is set. My mom has had a rough 2 years because of a tragic and racial incident of be harrased by the police just because we were a different color  and she really desperately wants me to get a good education somehow and I also want it to because I know the public schools I've been going to aren't cutting it. But again I do have to say my mom hasn't been shopping for her self in the longest time and I do even though I know I'm not suppose to I do feel guilty even though I haven't had the privlige of shopping myself

About Witchwith3

Hello. I am a SAHM of 3 children. My son has ADD and we very  much want to send him to a private school that can better help/educate him. The total cost to send him to the school we'd like to is over $7000. We do not have the extra money to do this, so I am looking for help in finding a grant that can help cover all or some of the expense. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much

About Just A Mom2

Hello,

I am writting b/c our public schools are failing my children, we have 3 wonderful children, my husband and I did not go to college and would really like our children to, but we just don't see that happening with the education they will recieve in the public schools in our town.  We want more for our children, so we looked into the local Catholic School, if I could pay $700.00 a month, there you go there is a great education with God as thier role model.  But, if we had $700.00 more a month, we could move to the better town with the better schools.  I guess I am just asking for help, I don't know what to do, my oldest will be in 7th grade next year and if we doin't get him out of those schools soon, he will be lost forever.  Please help me invest in the future.

He does not want to leave the school but I may be forced to transfer him. If anyone can provide assistance of any nature it would be greatly appreicated as I want to see the best for my son.

Thank You

funding private school

I've been going to a private school, but my parents are getting divorced. My dad doesnt want me to go to the private Christian school, and living off a teachers salary my mom would never have enough to send me. Is there any grants or scholarships out there i can apply for? This school and my friends there are my life. giving it up my senior year in high school would be heartbreaking.

Bipolar daughter needs a better education

Our 11 year old daughter has been in public schools up to this point... it has suddenly become obvious that even with the help of the special ed department and resource classes, she is not going to make it public schools. She is not a behavioral problem... she has a low IQ and struggles deserately in the classroom... now functioning on about a 2nd grade level. I have searched and searched private school options with programs that would fit her needs... most schools run a minimum of $15,000 per year. We can't do that alone... and we can't just let her fall through the cracks in public school anymore. Can anybody help?

Private school aid

Note: This aidpage was started as a comment on "Aidpage of Ezislelife"

I am a newly single mother of 2 living in Hawaii and working 2 jobs just to pay rent. I am looking for any help in keeping my 10 yr old son enrolled in private school. Tuition is $9,500 a year. I still owe $5,600 this year and next years tuition is coming up. Because I am now single I can get a small scholarship for next years tuition.I did not apply this year because I thought my husband would pay for it! If any of you know of any private school scholarships or grants I can apply for, that would be very helpful. My son has been student of the month representing the whole school for the topic of compassion, integrity, and friendship the last 3 years. He is a very smart boy and he's been through enough this year without me having to pull him out of his school also. Any suggestions will be very appreciated. Thanks ezislelife@hotmail.com
